We offer caring, personal and quality attention to our sixteen elderly ladies in residence who are no longer able to live alone. Call (941) 474-5563, contact us or stop by anytime.
Inglenook is locally owned and has had the same management for 30+ years. Our staff is not only professional — they're caring — and some have been with us for over 20 years. We are not corporately owned and because of that you can expect our personal touch.
1 As a Medicaid provider, we participate in the Long Term Care Program and coordinate an individual's needs with Hospice, when that is the resident's choice.
2 We coordinate physician prescribed nursing services, physical therapy, medical equipment and medications with appropriate third-party providers. All physician appointments are personally escorted by Inglenook staff.
3 Professional services are offered at all inclusive rates. There are no extra charges, deposits or admission fees.
What our families say about us.
"You have chosen an excellent staff. All of you are loving and caring people. I could not have gotten through these months without your help. You are doing a wonderful job."
"Thank each of you for all the love, care, and attention you gave my Mom during her 7 year stay at Inglenook. Living so far away, it was a great comfort to know she was in such good hands."
"Even before she needed extra care, I knew I couldn't trust her care to anyone but you. I was never disappointed with her care, and can't thank you enough for your tender care of my precious mother."
"Words will never be enough to express the feelings that came from knowing that my grandmother was so well cared for and living in such a loving and homey place as Inglenook. Your staff is wonderful and it was clear that they truly cared for the residents."
"You went above and beyond to help me. You and your staff took such good care of my Mom. I know she was happy to be there. I appreciate all that you did."
"Thank you so very much for your kindness, compassion, patience and warmth shown to my mother in law. She is so special to me and I know she is safe with you."
Throughout the large home are several comfortable sitting areas, a lovely dining room with fresh flowers and a charming fireplace for chilly mornings. The ladies also enjoy the screened front porch and private fenced courtyard.
With over two acres of gardens and trees, our ladies can watch the ever-present birds and butterflies visiting our tropical flowers.
Hurricane protection includes storm shutters, emergency food and water supplies and our own generator capable of keeping the entire residence running in case of power loss.
Our residence has 24-hour access control (each family has an individual access code of their choice), door alarms, a fire sprinkler system and an emergency in-room call system.

Meet our caring owners.
Married couple Carol Vojt and Eliseo Rojas moved to the Sarasota area to be closer to their Florida family. They also wanted to find new careers that provided more meaning and purpose in their lives.
Prior to becoming Florida residents, Carol and Eliseo lived by the water in Monmouth County New Jersey. As annual visitors for over 12 years to the Sarasota area, it was easy for them to call Florida their second home.
After 20 + years of working in New York City and commuting from New Jersey, Corporate America had caught up with the couple. Their need to “do more and do good” led them on a path to find a business they could run together that provided them with that giving back element.
Already invested in commercial and residential real estate, Assisted Living Residences seemed to be the natural fit they were looking for.
Carol and Eliseo bought their first assisted living residence, Cortez House, in the fall of 2021. The Cortez House is a 16 bed home located in Bradenton near the G.T. Bray park. Inglenook House is their second 16 bed acquisition. Both properties have been providing assisted living care for over 30 years.
Carol and Eliseo are committed to creating their own legacy while doing their best to enrich the lives of others…one day at a time.
